Mission Statement

Arabic Program
The mission of Dar Al-Huda Arabic Program is to empower students to master adequate skills to enable them to read and comprehend the Arabic language. Dar Al-Huda  believes in promoting the four language skills (comprehension, speaking, reading and writing). To achieve its mission, Dar Al-Huda Arabic Language Program (ALP), combines the Arabic textbooks in the curriculum with supplementary audiovisual material and extra-curricular activities that enhances the child’s proficiency in the four language skills. This is carried out through various games, role-playing, singing and other activities during the language class.

Islamic Studies Program
The Islamic Studies program is focused on faith (`aqeedah), worship (`ibadah), character (akhlaq), and the blessed Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) (sunnah, seerah, and ahadith). The mission of the Dar Al-Huda Islamic Studies program is to awaken in our new Muslim generation a love and understanding of Allah, His messengers, and Islam. This love and understanding will be the foundation of their intellectual, emotional, and spiritual life, providing them with a sound basis for rational and reflective understanding of the people and the world around them. It aims to nurture and identity in each child as a confident and faithful American Muslim who understands his/her pivotal role as a contributing member of the Muslim community as well as of society at large.

Quran Program
The Quran program focuses on correct pronunciation, simple tafseer and memorization. Al-qaida al-nuraniyah is used as a supplement to enhance proper recitation and correct makharij (points of articulation).
